Editorial policy
This page explains who publishes RORefs reviews, how we collect evidence, how ratings are calculated and how affiliate relationships are kept separate from editorial decisions.
Who publishes RORefs
RORefs is an independent editorial website about third-party Roblox gambling platforms. It is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the platforms it reviews.
Reviews are published by the RORefs Editorial Team. RORefs is responsible for the research record, ratings, wording, corrections and final publication decisions. Editorial questions can be sent to contact@rorefs.com.
How we collect and describe evidence
A full review starts with a check of the live platform. Depending on what is available, we inspect games, displayed odds, fairness tools, login options, account security, payment methods, withdrawal limits, rewards, support and public operator information.
Where stated in a review, we also complete a small cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal test. A successful test describes that transaction only. It does not guarantee that another user or a future withdrawal will receive the same result.
- Tested by RORefsAn action completed during our check, such as a deposit, withdrawal or account-setting review.
- Shown by the platformInformation visible in the interface or current operator materials when we checked.
- Publicly associatedA name or claim found in public material that we could not independently confirm as a legal identity.
- Not retained or not verifiedEvidence that was unavailable or not preserved is identified instead of being estimated.
How ratings are calculated
RORefs uses seven weighted criteria. Each criterion receives an editorial score from 0 to 5. We multiply the category score by its weight, add the results and round the total to one decimal.
The criteria cover track record and public presence, fairness, game variety, bonuses, payments, ownership transparency, and user experience. Every rated review displays its category scores, weights and a short reason for each score.
A score reflects the evidence available on the stated review date. It is not a licence check, certification, promise of future withdrawals or advice to gamble.
Affiliate links and editorial independence
Some outbound links are affiliate links. RORefs may receive a commission when a reader follows one and completes a qualifying action. This does not add a fee for the reader.
Affiliate status does not determine whether a platform is reviewed, how evidence is described, which risks are included or what score is published. Operators do not purchase approval and do not need to approve a review before publication.
Updates, corrections and reports
Platform features and terms can change. Each full review shows when it was published, tested and last checked. A later change does not make an earlier observation dishonest, but material new evidence may require an update to the text, rating or listing status.
When a correction materially changes the review, we add it to the review history. Readers and operators may submit corrections or scam reports by email. Claims are assessed against the available supporting evidence.
Writing tools and quality control
Drafting and editing tools may assist with structure, grammar, consistency and code. They do not replace platform checks or create missing test results. Factual statements, ratings and publication decisions must be checked against the available RORefs research record before publication.
We avoid presenting assumptions as verified facts. When information is incomplete, the review should say what remains unknown and what evidence would be needed to resolve it.
